Best Trust Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”) describes how we handle information for the Fuji Compass web app (“the App”) as follows.

1. Information we may use

The App may use the following on your device:

Location: To show bearing and distance to destinations (Mount Fuji, Tokyo Tower, etc.), we use your device’s geolocation.
Device orientation: For the compass, we use motion/orientation sensors.
On-device data for AI notes: On supported devices, the app may pass bearing, distance, GPS accuracy, and compass accuracy to on-device AI to create a short note. On unsupported devices, it shows a local rule-based note.

We use this information only to provide features in the App (showing bearing, distance, and local guidance notes). We do not send it to our servers.

Location and orientation data are not sent to our servers.
We do not send location or orientation data to external AI APIs such as OpenAI, Google, or Apple cloud APIs.
Processing happens on your device.
As a PWA, cached assets may be stored on your device for offline use.
On the web version, hosting infrastructure (e.g., Vercel) may process an approximate country code from your connection to suggest UI language when you have not saved a choice (not for identifying individuals). A language you save in the browser takes precedence.

We do not provide this information to third parties.
